Never Make These 6 HairCare Mistakes!

The reality of your hair is always different from those hair care products ads you see on television.  Most people face hair loss, breakage and frizzy hair because of the way they handle their hair and treat it, on a daily basis. There are certain mistakes that can harm your hair and you end up blaming your products. Even if your hair products are good, your hair care routine can harm your hair. 

If you want everyday to be your hair day, this is not possible. But if you change some of your hair care mistakes, your hair might look far better than normal. 

One of the biggest mistakes is brushing your hair when your hair is wet. This is a common mistake and also using heat on completely wet hair. It is best to let your hair dry naturally without using any hot air. 

When your hair is wet, they are most fragile and the way you treat wet hair is an essential part of hair care. 

When you wash your hair you pour water on your hair then the hair shaft absorbs that water and therefore your hair is more fragile when it is wet. 

Never Make These 6 Hair Care Mistakes: 

1. Do not brush wet hair:

When your hair is damp, it is extremely fragile and trying to detangle your hair can harm your hair, causing split ends and breakage. Therefore, you should wait for your hair to dry naturally and then detangle your hair. 

2.  Hot air on wet hair:

It is difficult to dry your hair especially if you’re working because if you want to dry your hair naturally it takes time and therefore you end up using hot air. So, make sure you use a heat protector before you use hot air or you can also go for tools that have temperature control and normal air dry without any heating options. Using hot air and heating tools on your wet hair can damage your hair strands irreversible harm. 

3.  Tying hair when it is wet:

This might look like a really good option to tie your hair when it is wet, while going out. But, this is not good for your hair, because when your hair strands are vulnerable and weak, tying your hair or making a tight braid can harm your hair and increase split ends. If there are any dents and snags make sure you do not make a ponytail, especially if your hair is wet. Remember; always tie your hair when it is completely dry. 

4.  Using a blow dryer:

Are you someone who uses a blow dryer for quick drying purpose? So, this can make your hair super dry, using the high heat blow dryer might not cause instant damage to your hair but it can definitely going to ruin your hair quality after sometime. It better to use low or medium heat once the water drains out from your hair. 

5. Sleeping when your hair are wet:

If you hair are slightly damp then it is fine but if your hair is dripping it is can damage your hair follicles, cause breakage, split ends and cause puddle on your pillow. If you washed your hair at night it is better to let it naturally dry and then you should sleep. But if is too late, and then make sure your hair are at least 70% dry.

6. Using hair spy on wet hair:

The reason you use hair spray to maintain the shape f your hair, but if your hair is wet then they will change its shape once they are dry and so do your hair shape. Therefore, it is better to use hair sprays once your hair is dry.

Tips to remember for quality hair:

1. Always have a well-balanced meal.

2. Use a microfiber towel to preserve the vitality of your tresses.

3. If your hair become excessive tangled then it is better to use a leave-in product and using a wet brush with softer bristles compared to the other brushes.

4. Use a round brush to detangle your hair, once your hair is 90% dry. It is better to start with the ends to detangle and then slowly rise towards your routes.

5. Always oil your hair and then wash your hair, if you are wash your hair without oiling this can cause dry scalp, frizzy and dry hair.

6. Just like your skin, your scalp also needs moisture and nourishment so, it is better to go for nourishing hair care products.
