1. Ovarian cysts:

This is a condition that can cause irregular menstrual cycle and menstrual cramps and ovarian cysts are something that is mostly seen in various sizes amongst all women during their menstrual cycle. There are women who live their entire life without realising about cysts or they have ovarian cysts. Cysts are sac filled with fluid that can grow on or around the surface of ovaries. These cysts might become a reason for tumours but it is not as common as you see. If you get the right treatment, these cysts can dissolve with the help of the treatment and you will be fine after that. 

2. Urinary Tract Infection (UTI):

This condition occurs because of the bacterial growth in the bladder, which is known as Urinary Tract Infection. Things that can lead to UTI are frequent intercourse, pregnancy and diabetes. UTI can cause a problem like pain during intercourse, lower abdominal cramps, fever with chills, burning sensation, and frequent urge to urinate. Therefore, it is necessary to follow intimate hygiene to prevent such infections. Such infection can also happen after using public toilets so, make sure you use the clean ones and keep yourself clean. You can also use a sanitiser or disinfectant spray while using toilet seats to sanitize it before you sit on it. 

3. Dysmenorrhoea:

Do you feel pain in the lower back or lower abdomen during the menstruation period? There are females who face mild pain and can focus on their day-to-day work during the period. But, there are women who find it really difficult to even move during their period. Dysmenorrhoea is a condition in which the women experience period cramps on the first day of periods and get better with time. In this condition, women also feel better once bleeding starts, but in this, the period pain starts before the period. However, the condition gets better with age and especially after giving birth. Dysmenorrhoea is an underlying problem and needs evaluation to manage it properly, like:

  1. Use a heating pad on your lower back or abdomen area to relieve period cramps or pain.
  2. Gentle massage on the back or on the abdomen area to relieve pain.
  3. If your period pain is unbearable, then you should consult your doctor for medications. Never have anything without consulting a doctor, remember this.

4. Endometriosis:

Endometriosis is a condition that can occur in the inner lining of the uterus tends to grow outside the walls of the uterus. This mainly occurs in the fallopian tube or in the ovaries and rarely on the cervix, rectum, bowel and bladder. The reason behind Endometriosis is still not known, but this problem occurs mostly in the age group of 25 to 40 years. There are other reasons that can lead to Endometriosis like menstrual history, family history, and pregnancy history. 

5. PCOS:

PCOS is a condition that can occur because of the imbalance of hormones, which means when the percentage of male sex hormones (androgens) increases abnormally in women. Androgens are already present in every woman but in a small percentage, but PCOS happen when these hormones increase due to increased insulin and due to genetic insulin resistance.
