Apple cider vinegar is prepared with a fermenting process and this process is repeated twice. To prepare this apple cider vinegar, the manufacturer adds yeast to convert crushed apples into sugars and then into alcohol. This process is helpful to ferment the alcohol and turn it into acetic acid. Vinegar has 5 to 6 percent of acetic acid that gives its unique taste and scent.

However, there are no studies shown on humans related to the benefits of apple cider vinegar, but as per scientist there are no risks of having apple cider vinegar.

Apple cider vinegar is used as an effective ingredient to treat eczema and dry skin because the epidermis is slightly acidic and applying apple cider vinegar topically on your skin balances the natural pH level of your skin. Therefore, apple cider vinegar is used in various skin care products and it was used traditionally for skin health and to combat dry skin.

Other Things to Know about Apple Cider Vinegar:

1. Apple cider vinegar has excellent antibacterial properties that help to prevent you from tropical infections. 

2. However, the American Academy of Dermatology does not recommend ACV for preventive measures, skin health, and rejuvenation. There are other products that are more effective for your skin health. 

3. Make sure that you always mix or dilute ACV with tea, water or have it with food because vinegar is a potent substance. 

4. You should be aware of the drawbacks of Apple cider vinegar before you use it in your skincare. 

5. If you are a patient of hypokalemia, you should not consume Apple cider vinegar because it can lower the potassium levels. 

6. If you are taking some medications, make sure you consult your doctor and then consume it. 

7. If you experience nausea after consuming ACV, this means your body is sensitive to the sour taste of it. So, you can simply look for other health drink options.
