1.  Agoraphobia: This is a type of anxiety that can often trigger due to the fear of some situations and places. Situations and places can trigger your panic and the person feels helpless and trapped in the situation and unable to overcome it. 

 2.           Medical condition: If a person is suffering from a certain medical condition, this can also cause anxiety issues. 

3.           General anxiety issues: This type of anxiety disorder occurs because of excessive worry about some activities and events while doing routine day-to-day work. In this condition, worrying becomes persistent, and it is difficult for the person to control it, which leads to various other symptoms. 

4.           Panic attacks: The meaning of this type of anxiety disorder hidden in the name itself. In this type of anxiety, the person feels intense terror, anxiety that crosses the limit within minutes and results in a panic attack. The person who experiences a panic attack also experiences chest pain, pounding heart, shortness of breath, and sweating. 

5.           Selective mutism: This is a condition mostly seen amongst children when they need to speak in front of a stranger, on a stage or even in front of a relative. 

6. Separation anxiety: This occurs amongst children who have a fear of separation from their parents and people who are involved in the parental role. This type of anxiety is also a childhood disorder that can cause fear and stress amongst children. 

There are other types of anxiety-like social phobia, also known as a social anxiety disorder that causes avoidance, fear, and social situations. People with this type of anxiety disorder experience fear, anxiety, and embarrassment and are concerned about being judged and viewed negatively by other people and self-consciousness. 

Then comes substance-induced anxiety. This happens when someone misuse drugs, any toxins substances or medications. This type of anxiety happens because of the misuse of drugs that cause panic and intense anxiety.

1.  When the feeling of worry and stress is becoming consistent and it is affecting your day-to-day work and relationships with other people. 

2.  When you are unable to overcome or control your fear, stress, and anxiety. 

3.  If you are facing some mental health problems and depression. 

4.  If you experience trouble with drug use and alcohol. 

5.  If you think the cause of your anxiety is some physical problem.

6.  If you have suicidal thoughts and behaviours, this means you need to see a doctor immediately.

What are the causes of anxiety?

2.  Thyroid problems like hyperthyroidism.

3.  Respiratory disorders like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma.

4.  Misuse of medications or drugs.

5.  Withdrawal from alcohol, anti-anxiety medications (benzodiazepines) or other medications.

6.  Irritable bowel syndrome and chronic pain.

7.  Rare tumours that produce certain fight-or-flight hormones.

8.  Diabetes.

9.  Anxiety can also occur due to the side effect of certain medications.

Anxiety due to Underlying Medical Condition: 

·         If you do not have any blood relatives with an anxiety history.

·         If you do not avoid some situations and things because of anxiety.

·         If you did not have anxiety as a child. 

·         If you didn’t have a previous history of anxiety and still experience sudden anxiety that is not even related to your life events.

There are no particular factors to understand the underlining cause of anxiety disorder that can reduce or cure your anxiety issues, but there are certain tips you can follow to reduce the symptoms of your anxiety. 

1. Get the help of an expert as soon as you can because mental health conditions can become more complicated if delayed. Also, most of us are not aware of handling problems related to mental health conditions so, instead of relying on your family and friend you might not see any improvements, they can support your initiatives to help you heal but you have to consult an expert to see an improvement in your condition. 

2. One of the common things that people experience with anxiety, depression and stress is they do not feel like doing anything physical and just want to sleep or avoid any physical activity. So, the first thing you need to try is to be physically active. Take part in some exercises, sports, or classes that make you happy and you feel joyful. Here your family, friends can help you and push you to be active every day. 

3. Do not consume alcohol and drugs because this makes your anxiety levels even worse, especially for people who consume alcohol or misuse drugs more often and are addicted to such habits. Even if you need help, you should get it because these two ill obsessions can make your life worse.
